Located within the Catskill Forest Park, the De Bruce Country Inn offers a secluded and elegant setting for enjoying wooded trails, wildlife and game, trout-fishing streams and lake and mountain views from the Inn's own private preserve. Guests experience unpretentious but heartfelt hospitality, the offerings of a gifted chef, and all the amenities of a lovingly and authentically restored turn-of-the-century country hostelry.

The visitor is welcomed into this 19th Century Federal-style building through French Doors, past the parlor with its fieldstone fireplace, comfortable antique chairs and couch, and library collection. Original art is featured in regular exhibitions of contemporary artists from May through December.

The rooms, all with private baths, are tastefully appointed with brass beds, posturepedic mattresses, hand-made bedspreads, Indian or Oriental rugs, Victorian hurricane lamps, ceiling fans, and color-coordinated drapes and wallpaper. Original art and decorative craft items provide a unique touch.
